Injection Day – a poem
By Tessa Dean June 2020
Injection Day, wrought with fear,
As the doctor readies his gear.
Cleanse the spot to be injected,
We don’t want to become infected.
Anesthesia administered prick by prick,
Ow! Then comes the final stick!
