PROMPT #142
The genie is not getting back in the bottle
I have found that there are some things that you simply can’t undo, like putting the genie back in the bottle. Once you unleash certain subjects you cannot go back no matter how much you plead with someone when you have done them harm and they won’t accept your apology because it was just too much damage done and to them, unforgivable. Just because you say you’re sorry for something doesn’t mean the person has to accept that apology. This is something I have found in my own life. I am deeply sorry, but the person is unable or unwilling to accept that apology and I must live with it. I can’t put that particular genie back in the bottle. Try as I might!
