The Weekly Smile for 7/6/2020 #weeklysmile – tossed outline day one

weeklysmile

I did start NaNoWriMo with the outline and after several paragraphs I gave up on the outline and went back to m pantser ways. I wasted a lot of time trying to follow an outline and it simply isn’t to be. I am a pantser and intend to stay that way. An experiment going way wrong. I changed my idea almost immediately and I wasn’t going to redo that outline for anything.

So my smile was ripping it up and tossing it away into the trash.

    1. Yes although I did find I need a few things with such a large project. I couldn’t keep all the characters straight so made a list of characters and their relationship in the story, a list of google names, places and business names so there were all fictitious, and I need a timeline of sorts because it got out of whack a little bit and I am only 26,000 words in so far. BUT NO outline.
