Rochelle’s Rules:

Puppy Woes
By Tessa Dean
“Jennifer, get inside the dining room and set the tables. It’s time to serve lunch,” her mother yelled from the back door.
“Oh, Ma, do I have to,” Jennifer asked whiningly. “There’s a puppy out here, and it is so cute. Can we keep it?”
“Listen, you know we can’t afford a dog. Get those tables set so we can start serving lunch.”
Jennifer snuck the puppy inside and started setting tables.
There’s a shriek from the kitchen, and then the puppy runs out with two steaks in its mouth, an angry cook behind it. “Now, you’ve done it, Jennifer!”

Thank you! Decided to be cute rather than grim.

Ah, naughty girl. I understand her wanting the pup, though 🙂

My daughter just got a puppy and I remember why I hated puppies. They are cute, BUT they have their moments.
