Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt #192 – Tenacious

Death Notices Necessary
By Tessa Dean January 2021
Betty had a tenacious grip on her boyfriend. She was afraid he would find someone else. She had to know where and when he was going to be at all times. Heaven help him if something held him up, making him miss a date with her. There were no acceptable excuses.
The day John’s mother died, he was late for dinner. She refused to accept his excuse until he brought the death notice.
