Prompt word: Returning
Prompt Photo:

Every morning Jane watched her children as they trekked off down the mountain side to the small school at the base of the mountain where their small house was perched. She was always afraid that one of the small ones would fall and get hurt so she always made sure they made it down the side safely to the small school that served for all 12 grades and kindergarten for this region.
Every afternoon she was there waiting for them to return home and watched as they made the dangerous trek back up again. If her health had been better she would walk down with them and make the trip twice a day, but she had to be content that her oldest children would look after the younger ones.
