Pensitivity101 Rules:
Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
Below are three things that may, or may not, be related. Simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you.
You can use one, two or all three words in your post, there are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.
You can use 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and my logo if you wish.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post, then leave your link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly. You might like to check out some of the other contributions while you’re there.
I schedule the challenge to go out around 6.30 am UK time, but pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately. This could be because I’m late accessing my blog or due to time differences, but I will get there, I promise!
I look forward to reading your responses, and as always thank you all for your continued support.
Your three words are:
ENJOY
PERHAPS
STRENGTH

Thomas listened to the weather report. Snow and ice were predicted for tomorrow which was the day Ginny was supposed to come home from the hospital. Perhaps the weathermen are wrong as they usually are and it will simply just be rain.
He knew that Ginny was still tired from recovering from her surgery and the infection due to her burst appendix, but he wanted her to enjoy her first day or possible night at home. He didn’t have a discharge time yet, but he had arranged with his dad to have the day off of work and told his teacher he would be out tonight so he could spend the first day home alone with Ginny. No family, just him and her at her house. Her mom and her nurse would be in their rooms and there would be no brothers and a sister to interfere with their time alone.
The doctor warned them she would have to take it easy and try to build her strength back up slowly. Nothing strenuous the first week or so. She was allowed to go back to class on Monday so she still had a few days to rest up.
He had already called up the restaurant where his mother worked, LA Petite Maison de Cuisine, and ordered Ginny’s favorite foods to be ready for pickup at 9 PM and his brother Rory was going to pick it up for him and drop it off at Ginny’s house. He was so excited to have her coming home and to be able to be alone with her again without a nurse or aide or a doctor poking their heads into the room.
