Three Things Challenge 522

Pensitivity101 Rules:

Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
Below are three things that may, or may not, be related. Simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you.
You can use one, two or all three words in your post, there are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.
You can use 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and my logo if you wish.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post, then leave your link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly. You might like to check out some of the other contributions while you’re there.

I schedule the challenge to go out around 6.30 am UK time, but pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately. This could be because I’m late accessing my blog or due to time differences, but I will get there, I promise!
I look forward to reading your responses, and as always thank you all for your continued support.

Your three words are:

Beach Party Part 2 (Part 1)

By Tessa Dean March 2020

Cassandra Jones and Peter Smith were sitting hip to hip, arms wrapped around each other and kissing to the dismay of their friends.

“Hey you two, how about coming up for some air,” Marianne Lewis made a face at them. She gave Peter a punch. “Give us a break will ya?”

Charlie Morgan looked at them dead faced and said, “I know what bung means.”

“Eeww,” the girls said in unison. “How disgusting.”

“No, I mean there is another meaning for it.”

“Who cares, man,” Peter mumbled and went back to kissing Cassandra.

“Listen,” Charlie pleaded with them, “It means bribe in British slang.”

They all looked at him as if he was crazy. Charlie was always looking up new words and this wasn’t the first time he had come up with something off the wall that none of them cared a wit about.

“Hey,” Rhonda Jo Rollins called out. “Do you wanna go home and watch a monster movie. There is a marathon tonight and they are playing a lot of great movies.”

Marianne said sure and poked Cassandra and Peter and told them to start packing it up for the day. They were heading out to watch a monster marathon on Rhonda Jo’s big screen television.

Beach Party

By Tessa Dean March 2020

Hopping back and forth from one bare foot to the other, Cassandra raced across the hot sand towards the boardwalk. Her friends trailed behind her as they had the sense to put their flip flops on before stepping on to the hot sand. Reaching the boardwalk, she climbed the steps, out of breath, and flopped onto a bench by the opening.

“Why didn’t you put your shoes on, silly. That sand is hot!” Peter smacked her on the top of her head.

“Hey! That hurt!” She smacked him back.

“Hey that was a lot harder than I hit you.” He smacked her back and she pulled him down onto the bench with her and gave him a kiss.

“All is forgiven?” she asked rather coyly.

“All is forgiven,” and he kissed her back, slowly lengthening the kiss.
