Pensitivity101 Rules:

Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
Below are three things that may, or may not, be related. Simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you.
You can use one, two or all three words in your post, there are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.
You can use 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and my logo if you wish.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post, then leave your link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly. You might like to check out some of the other contributions while you’re there.

I schedule the challenge to go out around 6.30 am UK time, but pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately. This could be because I’m late accessing my blog or due to time differences, but I will get there, I promise!
I look forward to reading your responses, and as always thank you all for your continued support.

Beach Party Part 3 (Part 1, Part 2)

By Tessa Dean March 2020

Marianne got behind the wheel of her 2020 Chevy Corvette Convertible. It was bright red, just like her hair. Dyed of course. She was born with jet black hair and dyed it bright red. Marianne was their token rich kid. She was spoiled rotten by her divorced parents who were in a contest to beat each other out with who can buy her the most. Charlie climbed in beside her and they were off to Rhonda Jo’s house.

Rhonda Jo, Cassandra and Peter climbed into Peter’s blue 2006 Chevy Pickup Truck. Cassandra was in the middle, next to Peter and Rhonda Jo was on the passenger side. They all had to share the front seat as his truck didn’t have a backseat.

Reaching Rhonda Jo’s they raced into the family room where the huge 105 inch flat screen television was. All the kids liked to watch the television here since it was so large and was hooked up to surround/sound. Rhonda Jo and Cassandra popped up large bowls of popcorn for them to share and they settled down on the large sectional sofa and got comfortable. The monster marathon was just beginning.

Charlie, the monster expert, was immediately engrossed in the move while the others chatted a bit. “Quiet!” he barked out, “I am trying to watch this.”

The others turned and started to watch the movie. It was just getting to a scary part and Cassandra was really jumpy, so when Charlie yelled at her she cowered behind Peter, glaring at Charlie.

Peter turned to Charlie and snarled, “Don’t ever do that to her again, do you hear me? I’ll beat the snot out of you if you do.”

Charlie backed off and now he was the one cowering. Peter could be a real hot head, especially if you messed with his things, including his girlfriend, Cassandra. Marianne shoved Peter and moved close to Charlie. He put his arm around her.

“Yo guys, let’s just watch the movies,” Rhonda Jo said. “If you make too much noise you’ll bring my dad down here and he’ll throw us out.”
