Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
Below are three things that may, or may not, be related. Simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you.
You can use one, two or all three words in your post, there are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.
You can use 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and my logo if you wish.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post, then leave your link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly. You might like to check out some of the other contributions while you’re there.
I schedule the challenge to go out around 6.30 am UK time, but pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately. This could be because I’m late accessing my blog or due to time differences, but I will get there, I promise!
I look forward to reading your responses, and as always thank you all for your continued support.

**********Wayne’s Point of View**********
Wayne had prepared carefully for tonight. Cassie was expecting dinner and then a movie. He was pretty sure she had her friends lined up at the restaurant to be on danger watch. When he had asked her to go on a date again she had tried to smile, but it looked more like a grimace. She was struggling to find the right words. Wayne hoped she hadn’t changed her mind because he had given her so much time to think about the whole idea of the date.
She had sat down and appeared to weigh the options. Part of her definitely still wanted to go on a date, but part of her seemed to be more wary. He figured if he could get her to say yes, then the details would work out. They would be meeting up at the restaurant as far as she knew and her friends would be there. He rubbed the little bottle again.
**********Cassie’s Point of View**********
Cassie was fumbling with the zipper on her skirt. She was unable to do it herself and finally asked Kimberley for help. Kimberley was eyeing Cassie. She didn’t appear excited about going out. She had bought a new skirt, halter top and black lacy panties with a matching garter belt, but her usual enthusiasm for a new outfit wasn’t there. Several times she started to speak, but couldn’t get the words out. Kimberley said, “Are you okay Cassie? You don’t seem your normal bubbly self.”
“I don’t know. Something just feels off. I know I have tried for weeks now to get Wayne to finally take me on that date he promised, but so much has happened and I am unable to gather up too much excitement.”
“What color nylons are you going to where? Black to match the halter top or skin tone?”
“I don’t know. What do you think?”
“Well with the teal skirt and black halter top I would think black would be a nice contrast and definitely more sexy. Or maybe you are not looking for sexy, Cassie. I can’t gauge your mood.” Cassie’s smile disappeared.
“Part of me thinks he sent me that drugged candy. I am not sure why I think that. I know he said he was sick, but I just have a hard time believing that. I wonder what he will drink at the restaurant. He is old enough to drink. Will he have beer or a cocktail? I can’t drink so I would hope he would just drink soda or tea with me, but what if he drinks? I am trying to remember what he had to drink that night we met. Since we are meeting at the restaurant I could always drive him home or to the movies and just leave his car there if need be.
“Well if you ask me, I think you should wear the black nylons. I think it looks much nicer.” Kimberley pulled the package of black nylons out of the shopping bag and held them up. I choose these milady.”
Cassie took the proffered nylons and began to work them up her legs and then slipped the black 4″ high heels on.
“Nice!” Kimberley openly admired her. “You are beautiful!”
