Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
Below are three things that may, or may not, be related. Simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you.
You can use one, two or all three words in your post, there are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.
You can use 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and my logo if you wish.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post, then leave your link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly. You might like to check out some of the other contributions while you’re there.
I schedule the challenge to go out around 6.30 am UK time, but pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately. This could be because I’m late accessing my blog or due to time differences, but I will get there, I promise!
I look forward to reading your responses, and as always thank you all for your continued support.

Portfolio Part 2 (Part 1)
By Tessa Dean May 2021
Annabelle stepped through the revolving door in to the lobby and suddenly stopped, backing up into the person behind her.
“Dammit Annabelle,” Isabelle said. “Why did you stop so quickly? I almost dropped my portfolio thanks to you. What is wrong?” She stooped to pick up her purse, her portfolio gripped tightly in her arms.
“I had no idea there would be so many people here and the lobby is so big.” She tried to get behind Isabelle, her identical twin sister.
“Annie quit pushing me. Move forward or to the side. We are blocking the door and there are people trying to get in. Someone is going to end up hitting us or shoving the door so we move.”
“Izzy, I am afraid. I had no idea there would be so many people here. Aren’t you afraid?”
“Listen, I know you are nervous, but you are going to have to get over it. Mom is coming as soon as she finds a parking spot. Can you keep your nerves under control until she gets here?”
“Izzy, please go first, I don’t know where to go,” she takes a few deep breaths and moves to the side out of the door way. Izzy moved to the side with her allowing the other people behind them to enter the building.
“Annie, just wait here until mom gets here. I don’t know how you are going to become a model if you are afraid of everyone and everything. This isn’t home. This is a big city and there are lots of people in it and you will have to learn to deal with them or you aren’t going to be able to become a successful model. You have to be brave or at least act like you are brave. You can’t let everyone know you are terrified and show every single emotion on your face. Mom’s coming through the door now, please stop crying for heaven’s sake. She’s going to think something happened to you.”
