The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS June 5, 2021

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “yarn.” Use it any way you’d like. Enjoy!

Balls of yarn! My cat loved them and if she found one she would spend the night rolling it around the house. In the morning we would find that there was yarn wrapped around everything and you had to watch where you were walking. She did the same thing with a spool of thread. We would spend the next day trying to unwrap and unknot the yarn or thread. Sometimes it didn’t matter where you hid them because she would find them. And heaven forbid if you left a project in progress out somewhere. It would end up a tangled mess and wrapped around all the furniture.

  1. I had two cats over the years who both loved thread…not playing with it, but eating it. Unless I was sewing, thread was always kept in a box behind a closed door for their safety.

I can understand the playfulness of your cat with the yarn. Another toy! 🙂
