My smile:

This might sound strange, but today’s smile is that I gathered my own trash and took it all down to the trash chute myself without waiting for my neighbor to do it for me. I need to get into a better place in my life. I can still take the trash at this point. Last week, I wasn’t up to it, but today I decided to do it myself and so I accomplished something myself. I have to stop relying on others for things I can do myself be it slow or not, it is done.

    1. Yes, I hate being totally dependent on someone and I have enough of that in my life. It is called having an aide do everything like bathing and dressing you. I do what I can when she isn’t there. I refused to go back to a rehab center after that last experience.
