Lost Part 2 (Part 1)
by Tessa Dean June 2021
Nora and her son, Nicholas, were still racing across the wilderness, trying to get to safety. They had no idea who or what was chasing them. There were no paths, and they had to try and push their way as fast as possible through the thick greenery.
Up ahead was a small yellow hut. Someone had been there recently as the area surrounding it was swept clear. Could Nora and her son safely take a short break there? They hadn’t heard the dogs recently. Maybe there was time for a snooze.
As Nora pondered it, there was a dog’s bark.

Thank you. They are quite disappointed that they couldn’t stop briefly even. The dogs were on their tails, pun intended. 🙂

Can they outrun the dog? Now they know why they are continuing to run.

This was a continuation of another one. I was looking for another small piece I wrote, but I can’t remember which prompt it was for and I wanted to combine those two, but I don’t know where it is. I am not sure where it is going. Or if it is going anywhere.
