Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
Below are three things that may, or may not, be related. Simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you.
You can use one, two or all three words in your post, there are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.
You can use 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and my logo if you wish.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post, then leave your link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly. You might like to check out some of the other contributions while you’re there.
I schedule the challenge to go out around 6.30 am UK time, but pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately. This could be because I’m late accessing my blog or due to time differences, but I will get there, I promise!
I look forward to reading your responses, and as always thank you all for your continued support.

The Ring Part 2
By Tessa Dean June 2021
Nathan, known to his students as Professor Nathaniel Greenstone, was hiding in the thick undergrowth and trees surrounding the sculpture of the man or beast, whatever it was. He didn’t care as he was more interested in the scene in front of him with his favorite student Eileen Weatherby and that idiot she was interested in. Although he had no idea what she saw in him, they seemed to be a couple.
Thunder was rumbling in the distance and he thought they would all be caught by the thunderstorm at the rate this whole scene was playing out. He kept himself hidden away so they wouldn’t notice him. Eileen didn’t know that he secretly had a crush on her although he would call it more than a crush. As far as he was concerned she was his girl, not this blithering idiot she hung around with all the time.
The wind was starting to blow rather wildly and Eileen was fighting to keep her skirt down. He kept his eyes glued to her skirt hoping for a glimpse of her panties. He wondered if they were white and just briefs or was she wearing something sexy, perhaps some sexy lacy lingerie.
As the storm came closer, Kyle Sanderson dropped to one knee in front of Eileen. She looked confused and then he pulled a ring box out and he asked her to marry him stating they would never forget this proposal as it was such a strange spot for a marriage proposal. Nathan thought for sure she would say no to such a stupid proposal and there was no romance involved at all.
Nathan couldn’t believe his ears when Eileen said, “Yes Kyle, I will marry you. You do the craziest things, but I think that is one of the things I love about you. You are right, we will never forget the proposal and the crazy sculpture that just might be a man, but who knows for sure.”
As they started to kiss, the storm burst, and the wind kicked up Eileen’s skirt revealing she was wearing pink silk panties. Although they were not lace, they were still sexy. Nathan was sorry she pulled her skirt down so quickly and they raced off together to their car across the park.
He had been following her around everywhere and when she was in his class she rarely paid him any attention even though he was the professor and the one in charge of giving out grades. She did her work and turned it in and then went back to talking to either her girlfriends or Kyle. Her grades were excellent so he knew she wouldn’t be staying after school for help. Perhaps he could give her a failing grade on her test and maybe that would get her to come to him for help. She was a straight-A student and she wouldn’t ignore a failing grade. He wondered if she would be willing to go out with him on a date despite the “marriage proposal” from that bozo. He was considered an available bachelor on campus and most of the girls hung on him in the hopes he would ask them out although he wanted Eileen and she was taken. Was she really in love with that creep?
Nathan couldn’t see how she could be interested in Kyle sex-wise. He was not handsome at all and although he was a straight-A student himself what could they possibly have in common other than that. He was a goofball and she was one of the most popular girls on campus.
