The walking boot is off, but my foot is sore, swollen and I am limping, but I am in shoes and not the boot.

    1. Thank you. It is still quite painful. I don’t know if it is normal or not. It is hard enough to get a hold of a doctor on the weekend let alone a holiday weekend. Tomorrow I see the podiatrist (my own, not the orthopedic office’s one) and he will cut my nails which also are way too long and perhaps he will tell me if my foot is normal. I know it has to be swollen and that they want me in these new shoes, but they aren’t broken in and I think that is part of the problem and then I have to do physical therapy still. Ugh! BUT yes at least the boot is off.

      1. Add to that my chronic body pain and life isn’t much fun right now. I am trying to distract myself by writing and walking less than absolutely necessary.
