What’s Up with WordPress?

For the last week or so it has been almost impossible to post anything. It takes me three times as long and what I get is not what I wanted. Others tell me they are having issues as well. I guess if you only post once in a while you wouldn’t notice it, but I post a lot of stories on here and this is very frustrating.

I have rebooted over and over and used fresh posts and nothing makes a difference. I like to copy my old post as a template and just change what needs to be changed, but it won’t let me. I can’t even copy the original post and try to manipulate that to fit what I need. I am really annoyed right now.

And if that isn’t bad enough I have 3 blogs and they all work differently.

I used to recommend WordPress to everyone, but right now I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. YouTube is just as bad. Constantly fixing things that aren’t broke. Cut it out!!!!!

And if it is just me, what the hell did I do to you? Cut it out!!!!

Shortly I will be posting my newest piece, a novel, with lots of chapters which means lots of links, but the way this is working right now I won’t be able to post it on here. Please fix whatever it is you broke now.

Whee!!!!

By Tessa Dean July 2021

They pushed the car as far back on the hill as far as they could and then several of the guys pushed it forward to the edge and watched as the car slid over and down the hill as fast as possible. The guys loved it.

Now the girls just looked at them like they were crazy. “Give me one of those tubes,” Nancy said to Marty. “I want to go home in one piece thank you very much.” She climbed on and slid down the hill on the tube. The rest of the girls followed her.

By Tessa Dean July 2021

Detective Fisher had to think fast. He didn’t want Eileen to change her mind although she might not like his suggestion either. Many times in the past they had used decoys to set up a suspect. If he could get her to agree to be a decoy and lure in the professor they might catch him in the act although the last thing he wanted was to get Eileen hurt if something went wrong and plenty could go wrong.

“Eileen and Kyle I need to have a serious talk with you two right now. I have to leave and get this case started. Eileen you will have to file a rape report, but we will keep that silent for now because I would like to use you as a decoy or lure to draw him in and catch him in the act. However, and this is a big however, this is dangerous for you. We would do everything we can to keep you safe, but something could always go wrong. You need to understand that before agreeing to be a decoy.”

Eileen and Kyle look at each other. Kyle says, “I don’t want anything to happen to you, I love you very much. It would kill me if he managed to kill you. However, I agree, that this cannot go on forever. He seems to think he owns you and who knows how many others right here at this university he might be doing this too as well. Someone has to stop him. The man is a monster.”

Kyle turns to Detetive Fisher with tears in his eyes. “Do you truly think you can pull this off and that she won’t be hurt?”

“Kyle, I would give my life to save her if need be. I promise to do my best to keep Eileen safe. You will have to trust me and my team.”

“Ok, let’s do this,” Eileen says, trying to sound brave, but the fear was in her eyes.

The Ring Part 13 (Part 1Part 2Part 3Part 4Part 5Part 6Part 7Part 8Part 9Part 10Part 11, Part 12)

By Tessa Dean July 2021

“Hold on there,” Eileen returned to the house yelling at the top of her lungs. Kyle folded her into his arms and reminded her that the twins were sleeping. “Oh sorry,” she said quietly. “Ok, listen, I know you had to sell me on the whole detective thing, but I can’t let that jerk hurt anymore women. Kyle, I wish I could have told you this sooner, but that man raped me repeatedly and threatened to kill me if I so much as said one word about it.”

“What did you just say that creep did to you?” Kyle was the one shouting now. He grabbed a hold of her and hugged her close, wiping the tears from her eyes.

“When he saw you propose and I accepted it, he was furious. I could see him back there watching us. I am sure the grade was to make me come to him and he would possibly punish me in some way or maybe he would actually kill me since he killed his wife for heaven only knows what.”

“Detective Fisher,” Eileen turned to the detective, “I didn’t want to do this. I still don’t want to do this, but I can’t keep letting this go on with me or with anyone else he might be treating in the same way. That man is evil. I will testify, but it is going to take more than me. The background reports are helpful, but they won’t make those women testify. There are probably some here as well, besides me, but how do we get them to testify? If I start talking to women, it will get back to him and I will be dead. If you start talking to those women on the report he might very well hear about it from some of them who are still afraid of him.

The Ring Part 12 (Part 1Part 2Part 3Part 4Part 5Part 6Part 7Part 8Part 9, Part 10, Part 11)

By Tessa Dean July 2021

Eileen was feeling cold out there in the front yard, but she couldn’t stay in the house a second later. She had to think. She knew what the detective wanted, but she didn’t want to think about that again, plus she had never told Kyle what the professor had done to her. Would Kyle decide she was not worthy to be his wife? Would she be disgusting to him now? Did she dare tell him and everyone else what that filthy man did to her?

She came across as bold at first, but despite what he did to her she preferred to think of the situation as just a stalking game. But it wasn’t a game. The filthy old man had touched her and now she knew that he had done this to other women. She had to help put him behind bars. She had to help the detective with his case against the professor and try to persuade those other women to help her and if they banded together they could put him behind bars for good. She had no doubt he killed his wife. He threatened her more than once that he would kill her if she so much as opened her mouth as to what he did to her. However, she had no idea he had really killed someone. She was terrified now. Could she do this?
