Welcome to The Three Things Challenge. Below are three things that may, or may not, be related. Simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you. You can use one, two or all three words in your post, there are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly. You can use 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and my logo if you wish. Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post, then leave your link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly. You might like to check out some of the other contributions while you’re there.
I schedule the challenge to go out around 6.30 am UK time, but pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately. This could be because I’m late accessing my blog or due to time differences, but I will get there, I promise! I look forward to reading your responses, and as always thank you all for your continued support.
For visually challenged writers, the image shows a small child who has commandeered control of the pc.

Blue Screen of Death!
By Tessa Dean August 2021
Randy looked adorable and innocent when his mother brought him into her office to show him to her coworkers. Everyone gathered around him to pinch his cheeks and tell him how cute he was. However, five minutes later, the enraged operator of the computer little Randy was playing with turned to Randy’s mom and swore at her for being so stupid as to let Randy out of her sight because now her computer screen showed the blue screen of death as Randy happily punched the keys. Randy’s mom was swearing at him and pulling him away from the computer, but the computer’s operator was crying about the project she had been working on and was probably lost now even if the IT department could get her computer back up and running. She had a deadline of another hour and it seemed highly unlikely that the computer would be up and running again and that the project could be saved. Randy was dragged out of the office all the while screaming, “Play!”

Hadley zoomed up on his new Honda Motorcycle that he had gotten for his birthday. “What is that you got there? It sure is rusty,” he asked his cousins, who were pushing an old rusted motorcycle out of their grandfather’s garage. Jacob and Joshua tossed out several oaths before replying.
“We are trying to engage Grandfather’s old Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Grandfather seems to think it will run with some loving care, but I think it is ready for the junk heap myself.”
“It’s rusted. That thing isn’t going to start,” Hadley informed them. Laughing at their idiocy, he roared off.
