Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
Below are three things that may, or may not, be related. Simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you.
You can use one, two or all three words in your post, there are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.
You can use 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and my logo if you wish.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post, then leave your link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly. You might like to check out some of the other contributions while you’re there.
I schedule the challenge to go out around 6.30 am UK time, but pingbacks have to be approved manually so might not show immediately. This could be because I’m late accessing my blog or due to time differences, but I will get there, I promise!
I look forward to reading your responses, and as always thank you all for your continued support.

Reflections (Part 3)
“How many more surprises could you have,” Sabrina asked Serena. “I am not sure I can stand another surprise like this one.”
Serena laughed and hugged her, effectively cutting off her view behind her. Serena felt Sabrina shaking and then they heard a laugh which didn’t come from either of them. Serena wouldn’t let Sabrina turn around right away. Sabrina knew someone was behind them because of the laugh plus the branches were tickling her neck which she swatted away. Pulling away from Serena, she turned around and there was another girl with the exact same face. Three of them? Now what was going on?
Sabrina just stared in shock at her face on two other girls. Serena had said they were twins, but now she has brought in a third girl who looks just like them. “What’s going on Serena?”
“Well while I was digging in the records I found out there were three live births to our parents. So I knew that two of us were sent to one or the other, but what about the third one so I started to search adoption records and finally found Selena here. She was adopted by a completely different couple who couldn’t have children and so she is an only child as well.” Sabrina was in shock. She had been the last one to find out.
“Do you know who took each of us? Is my mom or my dad my biological parent?” Sabrina asked.
“Mom, took you, and Dad took me and the Comptoms took Selena. They had already named us and obviously none of the parents changed the names or finding you all would have been harder. Now I think we should get them all together and have them meet up with their children they gave away. I don’t know about you all, but I’m not unhappy with how I was raised, I am just mad that I missed out on my life as a triplet. I would have loved to have grown up with the two of you. So what do you think? Should we set up a meeting?”
The other girls agreed and they went about setting up the meeting. Selena’s parents were innocent, but they felt they should know what had gone on and that there was more than one child involved.
