Natalie’s Guidelines and newest post is here.

Thanks to Natalie, the Explorer, for hosting this prompt.
I would tell you that I am suffering from my allergies, and my insurance has flat out refused the recommended medicines so I have to use two nasal sprays daily instead of one to get the hopefully desired effect. Some days it works and some days it doesn’t.
Still struggling to write. The prompts aren’t helping so far. I used to look at the prompt and have an idea pop into my mind, but now I just look at it and then say “forget it!”
One of my daughters and family took me out for Mother’s Day Dinner on Wednesday. I had a great steak and it was like cutting butter. No struggling with gristle.
Have a great week, everyone.

Hi Tessa,
That you and your daughter found a place with steaks like you describe – makes my mouth water. I grew up not being very fond of steak for just this reason. Who wants to fuss with unchewable bits of meat that you end up having to swallow or spit out? Ugh!
Insurance is always going to be some degree of frustrating. Mine helps me with several meds that would be killer expensive without their help, but when I retire, this is going to be a bigger issue because cheaper insurance has to cost me more somewhere along the line. They are a business and will either make money or they will disappear and go out of business.
It’s a complex issue and I wish I knew the answer because “Free” healthcare is certainly not the answer. That would only turn into free – terrible – healthcare.
Sigh. . .
