So, my provocative question to you this week is this:
Which pre-pandemic activities are you ready to resume (or have you already resumed)? Which, if any, pre-virus activities are you likely to continue to avoid?
Well since we have to eat I haven’t stopped shopping, but I only go once a month to get groceries for the whole month. I have as many prescriptions delivered as possible and anything else I can get delivered. I live in a highrise so I can’t get away from my neighbors or the closeness in the elevators as there are only 2 for 100 apartments and then the laundry room is a small room and everyone has to use it.
Now I need a hair cut. It is getting long and I usually keep mine cut close to my head (I am a female so shaving it all off isn’t feasible). Hair salons haven’t reopened yet, but unless they are social distancing and wearing masks I won’t be going even when they reopen at the end of the month. I will just have to deal with the shaggy look down to my waist if it keeps on growing.
If I can see a doctor by telehealth I do that, but some like my eye doctor, dentist, and podiatrist for my feet, my body has to be there. That includes my pain injections. They can’t work over the phone.
I rarely have takeout anymore. Takeout and delivery are still the only options though I suppose restaurants will eventually reopen here, you have to take your mask off to eat so not sure how well that will go over.
