Natalie’s Guidelines and newest post is here.
Thanks to Natalie, the Explorer, for hosting this prompt.
Grab a chair and something to drink. If you were here, I would tell you that I am still adjusting to the assisted living facility. I know that eventually, I will adjust to it, and it will be less aggravating, but there are many people here now that I don’t like, and I do my best to not show my aggravation with them. I know it is bound to happen with such a large group living together. It bothers me when there is someone I can’t stand, and someone else says, ” Oh, she’s so sweet. I have to keep my mouth shut. I must live here, so I need to make the best of it.
Yesterday I got the Covid booster which is the second booster for the new variant and the flu shot as well. At least there are nurses here if I have a problem like I did with the last booster that landed me in the hospital, although they say it had nothing to do with the booster shot.
I am still writing the prompts, keeping up with them as much as possible, and even adding a new one now and then. I write better with prompts. I have my memoir, which I had written before, but it seems I didn’t so it write according to the editor who read it, so I am doing it again. Slowly though. I am not rushing through it this time.
I finally got the approval for the added miles to my pain management doctor. However, it is only good until they move back to the new office once the repairs are done, and then I will have to do it all over again.
They are trying to find extra activities for us to do. I don’t really care for much other than BINGO. I did try a few though, so my kids would stop bugging me to participate.
Have a great week, everyone.
