Fandango’s Rules For the One Word Challenge

FOWC

Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).

Today’s word is “chord.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, ÿplease manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

**********

The scene of the accident struck a chord deep within me. Many years ago my dad had been in a severe car accident and his car, not only smashed like an accordian, burst into flames just minutes after he and his passenger had gotten out of the car. The car was totaled and they were lucky to be alive. My dad had to pull his friend out of the car as he was stuck from when the car had crumpled. My dad was brave and even though he knew his life was in danger he would not leave the man in the car. I admired him for that and I don’t know if I would have been able to do that myself. I am not brave. My father was truly a man to look up to.
