FOWC with Fandango — Wealthy Plus The Three Things Challenge Plus The Word of the Day Challenge and The Rag Tag Community Daily Prompt

Fandango’s Rules For the One Word Challenge

FOWC

Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.). Today’s word is wealthy.

I am also using the Three Things Challenge for today #M719.

Your three words today are:
POT
PAT
PET

**********

I am also using the Word of the Day Challenge which is jetlag.

I am also using the Rag Tag Community Daily Prompt which is paper.

Carl was wealthy enough to sit in the first-class section of the airplane. He was a frequent traveler and was acquainted with the feeling of jetlag. He knew that on his first day back, he would be very tired, and his mood would be grumpy until he felt like he had caught up to himself. The feeling of jetlag was one thing he hated about his frequent trips by plane. He tried to read the paper to occupy himself as he was bored but unable to sleep.

Upon returning home, his first act was to pat his dog, Lucky, on the head. He would then spend some time petting him, hoping to earn his forgiveness for leaving him alone. The guilt of leaving Lucky in a kennel while he was away weighed heavily on Carl. Carl headed to the kitchen once Lucky had been soothed and was ready to sleep. He put a pot of soup on to simmer. He would try napping to relieve the jetlag.
