Here are this week’s questions:

1.  What is/has been your favourite job/occupation? I loved updating databases and one of my jobs I was in the IT department and I was responsible for doing the updates to all of our medical information such as doctors/hospitals names and addresses. I wrote a program to run and clean up the files we received from each doctor/hospital. It was probably the only job I really enjoyed doing. I really hated having to work.
2.  Is there a job you would never consider doing? I have a few things: cooking in any form, fast food restaurant and picking up the trash/garbage.
3.  Did your family own a business and expect you to join the ranks when you got older? No family business.
4.  Did/do you have a career requiring qualifications or did you learn on the job and work your way up? The job I mentioned above I learned on the job (not everyone could learn that on their own though), but I also got more knowledge by taking a course in a trade school to enhance my skills. I managed to get a raise due to that course.

My name is Tessa Dean and I am an author and blogger. My writing styles vary and I love writing using prompts. I am also writing my first book, a Memoir entitled "Government Property - A Memoir of a Military Wife".  This is being published on the blog rather than the traditional way. I am putting up chapters as I go along. I keep my blog filled with useful content, stories, and poems. Plenty to keep you busy. I have also been interviewed by blogs and had other posts published on many different blogs. I also wrote a series of articles on Bipolar Disorder for IBPF (International Bipolar Foundation). I am in my 60’s and disabled which allows me plenty of time to write to my heart’s content. I live in southern New Jersey and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. My oldest grandchild is a Sargent in the United States Marine Corps.

    1. I am not sure what generation you are referring to, I am almost 70 years old and the types of jobs I did didn’t require education for the most part. My job updating databases in IT department did require a little bit of education. I knew a lot about computers despite my age and didn’t need much help. The education got me a raise at least.

      1. I am ten years younger, and my education was okay. I did CSE’s and I have worked in many places. Royal Mail for eighteen years.I now work as a teaching assistant. I did a GCSE English in 2020 (7), and planning a Math’s one later this year.
