Grab a chair and something to drink. If you were here, I would tell you that I am working diligently on my prompts and my memoir. I am glad to find that my memory is starting to return for my memoir. The timeframe is from the mid 1970s to 1999 so it is a ways back to that time. I have to keep redoing the Table of Contents (my version of an outline) and add different chapters of my life. I am still trying to figure out what to put in and what to leave out. Some I have to break up into smaller portions and others I have to add together. This is quite a project.

The food is really still awful and it is really getting worse. We have chicken (it is cheap) numerous times a week and today we had chicken for both lunch and dinner. This is getting so out of hand. And the quality of the food is terrible which doesn’t help.

I am surprised that the nurse is actually wrapping my feet every day without a comment. I didn’t expect it to happen at all so this is good news for once.

I am still falling asleep while sitting and writing or eating. The nurse is concerned and has discussed it with the nurse practitioner. Not sure what they are going to do.

Another weekend has come and I am sure it will pass quickly. Enjoy your summer everyone.

  1. Oh I bet that really does jog your memory going back so far into your memories. I am really awful with any of my childhood memories but thankfully my sister really remembers so much as I rely on her a lot to fill in the details of those vague things I do remember. Good luck with your writing!!

    1. Thank you, I am pleased that I am finally able to write it again. I am totally revising it. I had an editor read it and she gave me some helpful hints so I am trying to incorporate them.
